It's quite surprising but she is moving a lot more. Much less pain and especially now complaining and getting annoyed at things a lot more. That's actually a good sign. The RN tried to encourage her with things she could be doing for the rest of her possibly-long-life to give it meaning to keep trying and tried motivating us too. It's still a day-by-day thing. But it's a measurable difference from one day to the next.

I feel lifted quite a bit talking to a follow student in a class who went to UCLA. She's been so sick lately and continually with stuff she can't control and almost every day but she had an exuberant spirit. She was talking about how many people she knew who were dying especially from heart attacks and she conveyed to me like the RN did that find what makes you happy...pursue it...encourage it...focus on just living the moments you have happily.

And that really has got me giggling randomly...that and thinking about the Ducktales theme and wondering how exactly "life is like a hurricane here in Duckburg". ^^
Over 3 hours. Time to go eat! ^^
