I never suspected I'd get a chance to play this game but...the roulette wheel of Gamefly landed on this game.
Chibi-Robo (GCN)

It's thoroughly Japanese and kinda vaguely reminds me of games like Mister Mosquito and Elebits. The main character is a little robot who a little girl gets for her birthday. The little girl in question...is apparently part kappa, since she only talks in frog and likes to wear froggy helmets.
Chibi-Robo's job is to clean up after everyone and make them happy while they sit around, mostly watching TV. Chibi-Robo does all the housework and picking up that these slobs are too lazy to even attempt :-p.
The story is kinda....a side concern but the idea of gameplay is kinda fun, despite the fact that a three inch height deters you...is a bit of a pain to figure out how to get around the home environment. At this point, I'm guessing I need to find a protective coffee cup to shield myself from the toys who attack me in the next room over. Strangely, they even attack during the day, despite the fact it's supposed to be that toys play when people are sleep...but oh well. The game seems fun enough and I'm progressing well.
The battery limitation (you can only have a laptop-sized charge before you need to plug your robo-self into a wall socket) is not quite as bad as the time limitation as day and night end within only a few minutes and there is little time for futzing around before you've wasted time looking for ways to climb things.
The objectives aren't very pushy though. Get love to get a better battery and become the top Robo on the company website listings. I wish I knew where to get a coffee cup though...
