Classes This Quarter

I'm not gonna say "easy" because that would be speaking too soon. But one class amounts to learning how to pick the most scholarly references for research but not actually writing a research paper (don't even need a thesis). So I'm not sweating it.

The grammar course is going to be interesting because of being completely online (mostly unsupervised). It might be nice because I can just do it whenever I like and the only graded portions are the four tests based directly off of readings.

So I feel good. I zonked for about three hours after my proclamation of site-building intent. My site may not be pretty at first (likely won't be), but I'm gonna give it love to grow. ^^

Watch out for the online course...it's really easy to just forget about it, since it's not on a set schedule...@_@

Good point, there is a pacing guide to help keep my honest though. Tomorrow, I'll take the pre-test and see what I can do about digging into course materials.

Yay! That's always good to have. With mine, they just kinda threw me to the wolves with little-to-no direction...

Well...I'm still hesitant because the reactions people have are varied.

one - "I could do it in my sleep."
another - "You could train a monkey to do it in its sleep. Some people complained it was too hard though."
And one last night - "I have dylexia so I don't understand the I forms with the backwards E. I dropped it."

I could see where taking a class of this sort would be kinda difficult online. I'm kinda lucky that when I took my linguistics/grammatical courses, I had two totally awesome teachers who helped me a bunch. Otherwise, with my dyslexia, I probably would've had problems, too.

But I have total confidence in you! I think grammar courses are kinda fun, once you get into the nitty and the gritty. But, then, I'm weird. ^^;
