Being sick for a long time like this scars like acid thrown in the face. Before long, it can really change a person.
Your mom's not really angry at you. She's angry at what's making her sick, but she can't fight it on her own and she has to fight something. It doesn't make it right and it doesn't make it good, but that's unfortunately human nature.
