All was well
Jul. 21st, 2007 01:57 pmDecent day yesterday, a lot of writing. I've gotten in about 5000 words of Mecchen in the last two days. There was only one complication late in Friday when I realized at the wrong part of the week that I was down to three Detrol LA tablets. Which would only take me to Monday. I have a few options and a urologist appointment on Wednesday. But we'll see. No e-mail or note of when I have my orientation for my teaching capstone yet. Stress... *Kicks it away*
But the better stuff was I got writing done, my allergy shot and my grocery-shopping for food done. Trader Joe and Costco mostly. Then I ran by the bookstore and saw four department-store line of people and unanimously decided...'screw that I'll pick it up during my usual Saturday trip to the bookstore'. Especially since I know how it all peters out.
I recall my notation about the endings of Sopranos and expectations for Harry Potter - http://major-kerina.livejournal.com/236142.html
Yeah...you know, I'd prefer the Sopranos ending where it's like...here's seven pages, write your own epilogue with your kids. Seriously, there are fan-fictions which surpass what I've seen of that epilogue. JK Rowling started to lose it in around the sixth book (though likely earlier) and this seventh book is just the exclamation point on it.
Anywho, I intend to kick her ass...writerly-speaking, of course. ^_^
