I heard this on the radio and I heard it like this...

"Wall Street was closed for good Friday."

@_@ And I was like "WAAAAAH? I didn't know things were that bad!" (And yet it didn't completely surprise me...) It took me a full minute to realize they actually meant...

"Wall Street was closed for Good Friday."

^^ Kinda reminded me of a book I like named Eats, Shoots, & Leaves
There were some really vivid and nearly lucid moments of this dream which I'm forgetting but here's the gist I put together.

I was trying to get a job as a worker at a pizzaria. It was one of those with cafeteria-type benches in long lines and high ceiling. I could imagine there being a lot of parties for kids there. Apparently, they just grabbed me to work there and Wil Wheaton (@_@)...who was a seasoned pro worker...pulled me over to show me the ropes. I got my first order from a guy cosplaying as Cirno. He had a flute and was shaking the ice in his glass of water. He had written down his entire order in advance on a notepad (who does that?!). I took it over to the cash register and Wil showed me how to enter it into the kinda confusing system so the cooks will receive the orders. We did a couple of orders together till I got pretty good at that. I have a line of three waiting who were dressed as a Touhou girl with short red hair (whose name eludes me), then Hong (dozing off in line), and a genderless Wriggle boy/girl who pulled off the look well. Later, as the cosplay convention at the pizzaria was winding down...I decided to get a group shot of the cosplayers for the wall. I was walking around a bit before I took the photo though, to make sure everyone in an outfit was gonna be in the shots. I noticed there was a set of a Nine Volume edition of Watchmen (which the cover said also had a "Youth Edition" of 11 volumes). It kinda had a different color style than the one-volume but each had the smilie face in different situations.

So I held out a camera and took the photos. My third one caused this one girl to look around. She had these little glasses and loooooon dark blue hair and like a kinda samurai tunic on. She looked familiar like I knew her for some reason. The girl was really busty and her samurai outfit was a bit showy with it. Her face looked so familiar though. I turned around to Wil Wheaton to talk and he'd turned into a long-haired girl much shorter than me. I could tell it was him because he/she'd brought up something we'd talked about a moment ago. I was kinda amazed with myself in that moment and thought like "Wow...I turned Wil Wheaton into a girl!" and then also thought "Well, that was easy."

Then I woke up.

I'm sure I was. I had it. Somewhere in my head. I'm happy for friends. I'm sad for my mom and how depressed she feels. I'm giddy for the return of a restaurant I thought long gone. And I'm dour for the darn stuff nagging me this weekend. I'm hopeful for the new stores showing up and in myself for this week. I'm anxious about what will happen when the big one in town closes. I'm creative with my stories. But I'm creatively muted by these repawning bugs all over the place. So I keep my trusty sword/swatter at the ready...at least they have a low EVADE...and tapping them out of the air will kill them instantly.
