Random Zappy Art
Jun. 2nd, 2009 01:52 amThis image has been updated a couple of times. It's getting interesting ^^ (despite the fact I don't know much about these characters...something about the image interests me).

I have a new PSP. Twas only 131 dollars! ^^V. It is pretty and light and works (thank goodness).
About motion control though.
Line of sight...
Not everyone lives in a PR video house. And who the hell has room to skateboard in a house. I do like that it's got more of the play back into playing games.
Just one thing...
In the Project Natal commercial....the dude has a skateboard already...in his hands!!! Why doesn't have actually go ride it somewhere?
My point is the people this will appeal to can already do it easier and cheaper (considering the cost for Project Natal is...via hearsay though... nearly the cost of a 2nd Xbox). The only useful application to me is Minority Report hand gesture scrolling.
Wii worked because there is use is the manipulation of a controller. But there needs to be something with buttons. Even Sony gets that. I actually think their controller could be quite good. But the glowing orb at the top needs to go.
Key problems - needs to be useful, plentiful in use and applications, and not a pain. I foresee that these might sell some. But then I figured Wii Fit would do okay, so I may be too cautious there. We'll see.
Nintendo conference-wise...
I like New Super Mario Bros Wii (darn long title though)...I may get a controller for my dad so I can play against him like I did when we had an Atari.
Super Mario Galaxy 2..YOSHI!. That is all.
Metroid looks Team Ninja-worthy.
Zelda will come when it comes...till then I have about five previous ones to finish (Original...maybe...Link to the Past, Ocarina, Majora, Wind Waker (maybe) and if I want to bother with Gameboy emulations...).
Red Steel 2 looks nifty.
Haven't really gotten into the first Sin & Punishment. No huge on shooters.
Wii Fit Plus is okay so long as it has more of a reasoning to its organization for health. Wii Fit did a lot to help me get over health issues so I gotta give it some kudos. It burned into my muscles how to do at least some yoga.
Wii Sports Resort should include a Motion Plus dongle....so that's good.
And then DS...
GOLDEN SUN DS! Want...
Professor Layton!!! Also want.
Zelda should be interesting with trains. Finally something to mix up the usual style.
And DSiware is finally getting stuff that is modestly appealing but I'm gonna wait on that since I just bought a replacement handheld.
Ragnarok Online DS intrigues me for the fact there are so few MMOs on the DS yet.
Flower, Sun, and Rain - Groundhog Day-ish Japanese adventure game. Has my interest.
Shin Megami Tenshi of course...
Oh and then Edgy in his own adventure (need to finish more of those games...)
And since I am now PSPed again...
New Metal Gear always neat (need to see Portable Ops though...)
FAT PRINCESS ON PSP!!! Please let there be online stuffs!
Portable Assasin's Creed is always neat...as is Resident Evil portable...and LittleBigPlanet...and Soul Calibur...and Pangya...and I could go on...Jak and Daxter
And Persona and Pixeljunk look fun.
PSP looks like it could be my favored console in the near future ^^V.

As a Note of Games I Can't Play...
Jun. 2nd, 2009 11:17 pmBayonetta already mentioned and such...
The Last Guardian is gonna be sooo cute and emotional!
God of War 3 should be interesting to close the story (my theory - Kratos kills all the mythical creatures everywhere...that's why they aren't around anymore. The end.)
Final Fantasy 14...maybe when I get a stronger PC...
Heavy Rain looks like a neat adventure.
The little fighting games here and there look really interesting too...but fighting games tend to bore me quickly.
Still waiting to hear more about stuff by Level 5 (like White Knight Chronicles, Dragon Quests...etc).
and the Beyond Good & Evil sequel ^_^.
