Interesting feelings on Cassandra tonight

major_kerinaI used to think Cassandra was just a personal creation who helped me funnel my best ideas creatively especially after invoking the Embodiment of Zappy, I find she's felt more like flesh, more like when I want her to say something, she's reaching over and pressing my hands to type. She kinda lingers beside me like a ghost. She's also developed more inanimate and other tf sides to her instead of a single-minded fury of flame. She seems calm in a way that I never really realized before, natural and haunting almost. I'm not sure what combo of 2nd realm elements are blending with her but she's most interesting. I can almost feel her nearby. I know she can travel between certain universes in the 2nd realm on a whim. She possesses a sizable residence which includes girls of all ages which she finds the most curious. She seems to feel the most affectionate towards younger girls. I always thought she'd tear through a group of men like a forest fire and just melt them into girls. But it seems she offers herself to give them the fullest experience of being girls. As I dig into and let myself just have her nearby I feel like I seem more sides to her. She's always quite giving, multi-faceted and patient. But if she thinks you need something in particular or to see a side of herself especially then that seems to show most prominently. As would seem apt the personification that gives her energy, the Embodyment of Zappy, her main goal is always to reveal maidens. Her philosophy on inanimate is interesting and I don't quite grasp it myself but she seems to believe that whatever is an item of object or even living thing that bring betterment to the life of a woman then its essence filters slowly back to a kind of Source of all-things female. Maiden Source as it is known. Pure and radiant. Whatever it touches it utterly purifies with energy. And that energy may in turn be born then into a female body. Cassandra's methods are varied but usually tied to her blue flame which comes from her body. Goose drew her once to the best of his ability.
I sensed something about her life before she came to use flame to change gender. This is the best I can piece it together. She lived in a world which had only the strong and masculine. Methods of reproduction vastly different from our own. Into it was born a child that would seem to us to be a normal girl but to them she was a hideous freak. She was tormented, experimented on, spit on and hated. But she never protested any of it. She just tried her best to be hopeful, caring and do nothing to affect the wrath of others. She shut herself off from her genuine emotions. One day a gang caught, brutalized and violated her. Then tossed her into an incinerator. Through all this she just wore a still and hopeful smile. This gravated her aggressors but did not stop them from burning her up. It was so hot, blue-flames consumed her body.
Now all that it what I've been able to rationalize from what Cassandra has shown inspirationally to me. Some of it is myself rationalizing what I've learned from her and whatnot but as my muse, she tends to send me a lot, even though she's been essentially a "retired" muse for a while.
Now what follows is what makes the most sense to me (best guesses)
Cassandra died but didn't really her essense persisted and came in contact with the so-called Maiden Source. The energy from which all women are born. This energy flows through all things and people to varying degrees. There can be those spirits so touched by the Maiden Source, that they are essentially women. It seem to seek out those who feel the most discomfort and disconnection from it. It sends love in various ways towards those people and warms them and loves them. It is ever renewing. Whatever gets near it which is not off it is reformed and purified by the contact into a part of it.
Now with Cassandra, she also came in contact with something I like to think of as "The Embodyment of Zappy". It is aspect of the universe, a level of it. If you've read a recent Neil Gaiman novel like American Gods or the Sandman series then you might get what I mean. There spirits/essenses whatnot flow throughout the universe. They have agendas and reasons and purposes. How Ms. Zappy wants herself spread as far as possible. She wants things in a state of change and rebirth. She'd give you ideas from turning from a human being into a half-neko. Male to female, Female to male, species to species. She wants to alter everything into new forms and ideas. Around Cassandra, a part of her congregated. Each piece is without limit though, seeking expression, so it congregates around things like Kashimashi, or gender swapping ideas or any form of inspiration, it wants to be expressed. To the spirit of Cassandra it inspired the flames of her torment into a purifying form that spreads distilled Maiden Source essence. And since that Source energy as I said makes whatever is not it more into it, she can use that. She can also use it in a multitude of ways. She can bake with it, heat water with it to make changing tea. Also the flame itself can use that the renewing energy from the Maiden Source to make inanimate objects and plants. It purifies the non-maiden essence and changes it with the help of other parts of Ms. Zappy into cloth, stone, planets, pure Maiden essence that can be manipulated in many ways and absorbed or released.
Due to contact with a certain Makai-dweller, Cassandra has taken a particular devious liking to the inanimate. But her heart is always in love despite everything. She did eventually remake her homeworld one overflowing with maiden energy which eventually flowed back to the Source. Even those she makes plants and clothes or statues out of she does know with all the love and knowing they feel something wonderful from this experience. She often may come across as apathetic or callous but this is because, for one, her emotions are muted due to her past existence and also due to her inspired determination to eradicate all things not of the feminine. She doesn't care what people think about her actions, questions, opinions, dissent. She is single-minded and unrepentant of anything she does and at her most powerfully connected, sure and certain with her every determination. Flames may at times fill her entire body but are usually confined to her arms.
