About the Holiday Gifts

Usually, I'll just anonymously sign a goodly number of stockings to friends around now. I've done it for a couple years now. It's kinda on the expensive side but I've always liked to think it was nice to give people something friendly at a time when there's a lot of stress. There have been hiccups in the past. I typically only post them to journals of people I see around and I know will check their journals. If I missed someone on the side, just bring it up in private and I'll think of something fun. Going into this year, I didn't expect that I would get grief...for actually giving someone a nice thing. I didn't expect that I would get called names and receive rants for my efforts. These were a small amount of cases but they do make my list for next year a little cheaper and my friends list a little simpler.

To everyone else, I'm glad I could spread a little cuteness, no matter your background. Despite whatever, I wish you all happiness and friendship to help you get through roughness and struggle into better and happier times.

Irony haunts me. My rant was completely unrelated, I do appreciate the gift.

I only later noticed the gift but of course it now seems I did it in response to it. The sheer irony blows me away, it seems like something out of bad writing.
