Back from Doctor

I did have a few things. Apparently the test I took doesn't really measure B-12...so I still don't know and this doctor won't give me any kind of vitamin shot. He said I might have some deficiencies but he figured (in his Infinite Wisdom)...that I don't need anything...so continuith my lethargy. I was out of there in 30 minutes though as opposed to the usual 3 hours...so that's something at least. I got my allergy shot and I read more of Sandman Volume 9. It's a really creepy book so far but in a lovely sense. I doesn't feel quite as cohesive as the previous volumes...rather is feels like "remember all those people and entities you've seen in the past? Well everyone is going to get his or her cameo this time!" It's interesting...but when we get to the gay lover of the descendant of Aleistor Crowley (who is in an unending nightmare thanks to Dream...at least I think that's the same guy). The key problem is...there are so many artists with very different styles so that you don't have the faintest clue that the character you're looking at is supposed to be a character you've seen before. You might as well call Duffy Duck and Donald Duck the same it all the similarity shown between some characters. The only consistency is the quality of writing. But that's expected with Neil Gaiman. He knows his stuff. But the art style swings are a real bother.

I took the long way back home (which is about 40 minutes surface street driving)...this is a spread-out, big area. I got some of Anna's towels. At Anna's Linens. Nice place. But I wish the towels were bigger. I like one you can wrap up in. These are more for drying off a little. I'll see if I can find some to replace my big ones I can't seem to find.

That's all for now. Dinner soon. Need to eat less meat (the blood basically just said....my cholesterol is a little high in the bad. But my triglycerides are normal which means my risk of Diabetes is less now...apparently...so long as I keep it low. I guess).
