Basically, she was a freshly graduated-from-school employee of a doll-maker. One day, she really messed up, and made a huge mess, and got the wrath of the doll-maker, who nailed a doll's head onto her, and locked it with a special, one of a kind key, to ensure it never comes off.
In her ending, she kills him to get the key.. and upon having the choice, decides she likes her doll face better,destroys the key and becomes a vigilante.
