One of his recent talks. I agreed with him on some points. Shin Megami Tensei will occasionally beat the crap out of you in a kinda unfair way. Nocturne was so frustrating that I never got too far. He also talks about Digital Devil Survivor.

I liked his chat about board games as well because I used to really love them. I liked when he talked about the Battlestar Galactica board game because the idea of playing degrees of Cylons in a board game...well it just intrigues me because I kinda like playing a double agent in games. I'd have a poor poker face as well but his recommendation for the Battlestar Galactic board games makes me really wish I had a bunch of people around I could just put in front of a board game with me.

On the SMT games he's played - http://www.spoonyexperiment.com/2009/09/16/megavlog-9-15-09-part-3-shin-megami-tensei-series/

On the Buffy and Battlestar Galactica Board Games - http://www.spoonyexperiment.com/2009/09/16/megavlog-9-15-09-part-4-of-buffy-battlestar/

He talked a lot a few days ago. There was also a talk on D&D Online and D&D 4th Edition but I didn't see them since they'd definitely go over my head reference-wise.

^_^ I saw a note online about the Longest Journey getting a release for cheap. It's easily one of the best point and click adventures I've seen and I actually managed to play it way back when. It's an epic story. Fun game and now it's easily playable without DRM crap. ^_^
I had to send a student out today but that helped things. I got 90 bucks...not bad. But I'm sore.

I played a little Mario & Luigi during my prep period. I'm actually to the 7 hour mark and I'll offer some impressions in a bit.
Fawful is back and in full insanity. I had the most fun talking to Bowser's brainwashed minions who love Fawful like a rock star. Shame Fawful's plot so far is a bit hard to grasp. But the game is fun, witty, and it's as awesome as always ^^.
(A real bumper sticker I saw) "In the face of murder and terror, the call for peace is NOT PATRIOTIC, its COWARDICE."

*corrects it*

"In the face of murder and terror, the call for war and revenge is NOT PATRIOTIC, it's COWARDICE."

Could be worse. At least I haven't seen any Obama-hatred bumper stickers.
