I liked episode 7. It had some really disturbing moments...and some really cute ones. Usually both at the same time.

Kagami isn't so hot about the cuteness...

Aww...come on Kagami...

Meanie...

Okay, enough name-calling (I'll save it for Ran).

Freakin' cellphones...
Also, for some reason, amongst all the naturalistic shots in the show, this is my favorite.

All in all, I really enjoyed this episode. It had a lot of stuff I really liked. Little visual touches but it will take a long time before the horror of uber-feminine Konata-chan escapes my thoughts X_X.
Here are all ONE-HUNDRED-AND-TWENTY-FOUR SCREENCAPS! ^_^V *heh* I make a lot.
Onto the Super Gals!
First we have Episode 43 aka "Who the heck are you?"
Oh wow, minor girl 3 gets an episode...seriously, I was perplexed by who the focus-girl was for quite a while. It felt rather repetive in themes but I enjoyed it a little bit for the lack of too-much Ran. Unfortunately...there was still some Ran...

Little Miss Anonymous...

*sings* "On a magic car...I mean...umbrella riiiiiide!"

I like this shot...no other reason for it.

*takes a dose of insulin to compensate X_X* Sheesh...

I love these horror shots.
Alas, Ran has to wedge her dumb nose into things...

"I come from an aaaaaalien world!"

"I am cruuuushing your head!" *fingers out at the screen*

*sends the courtesy cat after her* No snoring in the theater!

*humph* Just because you're in your magical girl form doesn't make you any less of a dumbie...

Although this shot is kinda cool for Ran...*concedes*

YOU DON'T HAVE TO RUB IT IN RAN!!!
And onto 44 aka "Imouto-chan's Hero 'Dies'"
I liked this episode too because Ran's little sister is more fun than Ran is. I hope she doesn't turn out like Ran. Still, I got to wonder...doesn't she realize it is just a TV show? Oh well. Still a fun episode despite everything. I found the development of certain characters to be nice. That's the good thing in animes that run this long, they can add stuff to supporting characters which makes them quite interesting.

Typical Ran! Ignoring your sister's feelings!

"They're heeeere! Let me join them!"

Somber sister...

*pokes Ran back*

Hehe...more crying treatment...

Imouto's hero!!!

*grumbles* Poses don't win you points in DDR, Ran :-p

EEK! Monster! *uses fire*

"I WON'T GIVE UP!"
Episode 45 - Love of Ran is a Wasteland
Valentines Day (again?) and the girls are making chocolate for the guys. Ran's boyfriend is feeling down. Ran's rival is feeling mischevious and Ran is a lousy cook (surprised?)

2nd Place sure seems to be...

Ewww..Ran-toad...

Queens of cooking!!!

ACK! Don't get a huge head about it...

You haven't seen the worst of the shitstorm to follow (just kidding, that's only chocolate).

Ah yes, a monkey riding a doggie...
And onto episode 46 - Ran and Monkey-boy Family vs. Ramen McDonalds
I liked parts of this episode. Mostly because I love seeing big food corporations get kicked in the ass (see "Super Size Me). But other than that, this was fun because it really showed Ran being kinda helpful to her boyfriend. I love how Ran has developed over the show from a self-centered, preppy, materialist girl into...a..into a...umm...uh....well...heh...here's some images!

Still not as annoying as some fast food commercials...

Okay...now it's getting there...

Golden chef!!!

Monkey Boy Daddy! ^_^ woo

Only food or clothes will get Ran looking like this. It's the former.

Mmmm...suffering Ran...sooo delicious...

*puts something in her way* Mwahaha...

"Sick her, boy!" *watches* "Wuss! *zaps the dog*"

No reason for this, just liked the image...

Dessert of Ran suffering ^^
And finally, episode 47...Ran Rival Fights For Fancy Clothes!
Here she is!!!!.....

*crickets*...umm...you're on camera....
This is the epic battle between Kasumi and Ran for the supremacy of all....Shibuya?

*plays that chanting Fortuna music*
Yeah, they vie for an outfit...which is apparently even more impotant to Kasumi. Really, the only character I've been irritated with more than Ran has been Kasumi but in this episode, I really wanted her to win because she had a good reason...

Umm...you're still on camera...

Klutz...

She picked the right person to hide from Ran behind...

Oooo, some actual cuteness from her...

...And it's gone...

*Bestows the award for 'Weirdest Ran Look' ever* Now it will stay that way :-p

"Can you hear me no...*ack!*" *assassinates the joke before it can be said*

Foooood!

More food!!!

Stuffed....

Woooow...flashback @_@...

Hmmmmm...

Can you say "Napolean Complex"?
And there ends my review stuffs. Hope you enjoyed it. I'll have the last disk of Super Gals before too long. Such a shame. No more Ran to kick around anymore soon ;_^ only one little tear though.
