These are never around when you want one. So I decided to make my own from little bits.
What's your nickname - In high school it was my middle name "Jody". In college, it was "Lain" (for the anime I loved and that I was always on my computer). Now, I guess it's just "Kerina".
Do you have a birthmark? - None that I know of.
Birthday? - April 16th.
Personality? - I'm pretty easy going. This personality type fits me a lot but not perfectly. I tend to float in such a way that it's kinda hard to pin me down. I'm organized and stressed a lot. But I also like to operate in new and strange ways. I like to experiment but not too much. There's more but I wanted to keep the answer short-ish.
Hobbies? - Writing beautiful things for others. Writing in general. Finding good books, music, animes, and movies. I used to play tennis a lot. And I like to run when I can and do yoga.
Likes? - Love. Gender zappy. Creativity. A clean room and friendship.
Dislikes? - Dishonesty. Rigid, fundamental-type philosophy which sees no other possibilities. Stagnation. Bugs in the house. Arguments.
Favorite Accent - I actually really like all accents so long as people don't overdo them but I think I like Texan and Australian most because I can mimic them pretty well.
Favorite Actor - That's a toughie. Morgan Freeman for his voice. Although I really like Dennis_Haysbert too. I'd see anything with either of them.
Favorite Actress - Absolutely Jodie Foster. <3
Favorite Singer/Musical Group - I love composers a lot like John Williams and Noriyuki Iwadare but Yoko Kanno is definitely the best. Singer-wise...hmmmm...don't have a real favorite who I stick to.
Favorite Animal - I really like cats but haven't been able to spent a lot of time with them. I really like betta fish too. RIP Fred.
Favorite Books - It changes a lot but there's one above all others--- To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis
Favorite Candy - Hi-Chew. Cursed Hi-Chew. Never enough....
Favorite Anime Character - Lain or Kino.
Favorite Cartoon Character (Non-Anime Character) - Darkwing Duck or Bubbles (PPG).
Favorite Color - ^_^ Purple!
Favorite Flower - The kind that don't bloom a lot. Maybe a Japanese Peace Lily. I love them for how much they purify the air, they're my best friends. But we only had one around for a little while. Need another.
Favorite Food - Pad Thai. <3
Favorite Time of Day - Right around 9PM to Midnight. It's quieter and the air feels nicer and I'm not sleepy quite yet.

Funniest Thing You've Ever Experienced? Playing Apples to Apples with friends who are as insane as I am.
What is in your refrigerator right now? On your bedroom floor? On your nightstand? In your garbage can? Lots of old stuff, some new stuff, and PICKLES! <3. Actually that applies to all four. Okay maybe not. Just the fridge. Floor - Lint and a powertap to recharge the PSP and DS and keep the clock and fan going. Nightstand - Lamp, air fan/filter, lockbox and my Yoshi, Red M&M, Mario, and Luigi (the Four Amigos). Garbage Can - Eww...well mostly paper and tissue.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Finishing a complete novel and getting a Bachelors degree were both great but getting through intern teaching alive is probably my biggest "I ROCK!" moment.
What is your idea of perfect happiness? A totally organized house free of dust (There's a device that catches every drop of it) with super-soft place to sit and use the internet on a lappy which is endothermic (it cools the more it's used). And just chat with friends and create or watch something I like. Just peace of mind like that.

What is your motto? Don't really have one except "Zappy!" although I also like Kyon's "Please establish context before speaking!"
When was the last time you smiled and why? When I saw Groggy's little hamster Rolf in his car in a photo. Because it was cute.
And a blank one for others to use

Date: 2009-02-23 05:57 am (UTC)All answered, in the order presented. God help me if it refuses to send this, as it tends to do when I write in length.
I just realized that I shouldn't have written this here, but in my own journal; but leaving this page would erase all of this. Blast.
Nickname: Well, primarily either my last name or a very rude word derived from my last name. But with friends I usually get away with being 'D'.
Birthday: December 28th.
Personality: Easygoing, usually, but I tend to read too far into things and also be very sharply sarcastic without meaning it. I hold certain values as unbreakable and act on them accordingly. I tend to flip my opinion of a person back and forth in different moods, which is rather annoying, especially to me. I try very hard to make people smile, but usually just end up talking a lot. It pains me to see someone hurt, even if I'm angry with that person.
Hobbies: Most things that involve a collection aspect. If I weren't so easily embarrassed I'd probably cosplay a lot. As it is, collecting albums and game series, and programming little programs for things that annoy me on my computer (which normally breaks something that requires three more to be made to fix it). Obviously, playing games as well, though that hardly counts.
Likes: Sleep. Very loud music in a good mood and gentle in a poor one. That feeling you get when you tilt your chair too far back and catch your fall at the last second. Freedom to express myself without reprecussion. Again, making a person laugh. Cooking (when it turns out right and not potentially lethal). Good storytelling and happy endings.
Dislikes: Unhappy endings and characters being killed off just because the author wants a reaction, rather than serving the plot. Confinement. Funerals. People rejecting help they need (there are exceptions, though). All manner of unchivalrous acts (I think I just made that word). Elitism.
Favorite Accent: Bear Grylls British.
Actor: George Carlin.
Actress: And suddenly I grasp at straws. Um. I know there's one, but her name completely evades me.
Favorite Musical Group: Dragonforce, for the 'loud' factor. And I liked that last album. Lots of singing focus.
Favorite Animal: Panther. An animal so cool it doesn't exist.
Favorite Books: Crap, hard one. This is pretty fluid, but I'll go with...Freakonomics by Steven Levitt (God strike me down if I got that name wrong). Maybe I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak, or The Complete Sherlock Holmes. Most everything from the Dresden series. There's one I know that tops all of these but it escapes me at the moment.
Favorite Candy: SKITTLES!
Favorite Anime Character: Five-way tie: Akagi and Vash the Stampede for larger-than-life factor. Kaiji for the character developmentness. Tsunayoshi Sawada for humor and the wonderful contrasting personalities. And, of course, Kamina, for GAR. DON'T BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! BELIEVE IN ME, WHO BELIEVES IN YOU! God bless him.
Favorite Cartoon Character: Easily Shaggy of Scooby-Doo.
Favorite Color: Red!
Favorite Flower: Dandelion.
Favorite Food: A Wendy's Baconator. A full day of calories in meat. YES.
Favorite Time of Day: Nighttime when you can clearly see the moon.
Favorite Names: Female-Colette Male-Luke
Favorite TV Show: Drama: House! Comedy: Most Extreme Elimination Challenges Other: Ninja Warrior.
Favorite Comic Book: X-Men.
Favorite Movie: Drama: Perfume: Story of a Murderer. Comedy: Though there's a limit on how good a comedy can really be, I'd say Step Brothers was the most quotable movie I've ever seen. Plus I'm proud of myself for noticing several production mistakes the first time through.
Cut in almost half due to LJ size limit.

Date: 2009-02-23 06:21 am (UTC)Video Games: Unneccessary violence: No More Heroes. (Great writing and voice acting, though) Puzzle: Professor Layton and the Curious Village. Platformer: Sonic the Hedgehog 3. RPG: Tales of Symphonia. Strategy: Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.
Creation: Travis Touchdown's beam katana, made from a Force Fx Lightsaber for bonus sound effects and pretty lights.
Experience: Brain not cooperating. All immediate memories are highly unfunny. Please dail again or call your service provider.
Bedroom Floor: Coated in junk, too much to describe. Refridgerator: Pizza, ground beef, cheese, some pop. Assorted condiments. Cupcakes-CUPCAKES? I don't remember these, awesome! *eats*
Nightstand: Nothing other than clock and lamp, just cleaned. Garbage: Again, just cleaned, agh.
Achievement: 7-Day Survivor in Dead Rising.
Happiness: All negative emotion being taken from all people. Peace and happiness are tied, to me.
Mind: Tired. But I must finish! I must press onward!
Occupation: Writing for games, since I lack the skill to write for real, what with the visual factor.. Plus you get to play director a little.
Possession: My computer, for all the memories I've stored away on it.
Fear: Loneliness. Permanently would suck too.
Extravagance: ...Do I have to?...
...Warcraft.
Despise: That guy. You know, the one. Yeah, him. I hate that guy.
Regret: I once knew a very nice girl who showed interest in me. I was oblivious and young, so, though we got along great and my friends kept trying to tell me, I never responded. She was from New Zealand and is now gone from my school; whether she went back or not, I don't know.
I wish I could apologize to her.
Talent: Generating money! Wait, reality-based? Aww. Then, actual skill in writing.
Live: Ireland, hands down.
Men: Honor.
Women: Courage.
Hero: Ick, tough one! Probably one of the many black-and-white anime protagonists (Tsuna, Luffy, etc.) or Harry Dresden.
Words: The, and.
Change: Gender, unquestionably.
Reincarnation: *shudder* If it's karmic, I'd rather not think about it. Ugh.
(Interestingly, the above is funny proportionate to the dirtiness of the reader's mind.)
Motto: All the Good Mottoes Are Taken.
Smile: Ruefully reflecting on the fact that the DS stylus likely just gave me carpal tunnel.
