One episode. Enough story for a half-dozen. That's what Lost used to be a lot of.

This episode was definitely one in that classical type.

We had...

Young Eloise Hawking finding her son's book (with writing from her in the future). She then takes everyone to the Explosive Device for this Season. We see the tunnels for the Monster. We see a lot of hieroglyphics. We see Sayid's Red Shirt. We see how much of a jerk Kate is for ruining romantic moments. Hurley doesn't remember the Korean War or President Carter :-p. Miles knows his dad isn't a complete jerk (which may be the sign of DOOM for his character path). And that's just one story era.

With Other Lord Locke, we find Locke has inadvertently taken the idea of a "self-made man" to the temporal loop extreme. And he's got more to do...like KILLING JACOB...as Ben said with his face for all of us "WTF LOCKE?!?!?"

Next week...and the week after...gonna be big.
