There Was Blood

Rather, blood test for my doctor. I waited to the very last day to actually bother with it. And now I'm relaxing a bit. I had a great idea for how to work through Regina Morrey and Korri Morrey (btw, yes, that last name was picked solely for that rhyme ^^) in the next bit of Complaints. I've realized that every way through a story has to go through me. I'm not sure exactly who the author was who said it (probably Stephen King though)...but I find I agree that a writer cannot really understand someone's depth of personality....oh wait...I remember...Charles Schultz. Talking about Peanuts. Anyway...Schultz believed that a creator/writer must draw from themselves for depth of character. Supposing the personalities and experiences of others will always ring false. You can present other people genuinely but only through your own experience and personality....that still means a wide swath of characters for an author in touch with themselves (so far as I've read in the book).

But back to the blood. It was a 14 hour fast and it should reveal if I have any deficiencies. Four vials. Not too bad. I had a lunch out but I had to eat carefully due to not wanting to excite my bladder and such. But it was nice out. Not as hot, much fairer. Hopefully going to be a nice week. Just need to dig into my portfolio work soon or I'll be buried in end of the year stuff.
