I watched 8 episodes of X-Men season 1 on DVD. Holy crap! This is good! It's very serial, which is awesome. The voices feel weird because they're not at distinctive to me as the film versions (although Wolverine is great). I'm quite impressed. Juggernaut is a bit cheesy but then that joke has been made.
I had steak with A1 tonight!...shame anything not steak in the meal sucked but oh well. I also got some rice crispy treats and some popcorn. I poked at The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I can't help but feel it's just utterly joyless and serious. And exceedingly long. Hopefully it'll be a little interesting. I did like one idea in it about "a long sequence of happenstance which leads to one woman's injured leg" my only problem...there's no way in hell the narrator would know any of these events...he's not the dead dude in American Beauty! It's just a journal! It feels very much like an artificial narrator as the Eyes of God. I notice the little things in movie like that.
And I still need to make my 10 minute lesson up so I can have something to give people Thursday. And I need to solidify my 3 day lesson from my ideas...and my syllabus. Meh...
